Redstone is a new course, just opened all 18 last year. Although finishing around the course and the pro shop is not necessarily "resort" quality yet, I love playing the course. I find it challenging and very interesting. Furber has done a good job of making you think about where you want to place shots. You usually use every club in your bag. The greens are challenging and undulating and always in fantastic shape, and there was almost no winter damage. It is pretty much out in the wilds and we see deer, elk, and bears. Many of the holes are framed beautifully and are very scenic. It is nice to have such an interesting course so close. It is a pretty tough walk, but we always walk as it's great exercise. The clubhouse is historic and interesting. I have played a lot of different places, and this is one of the most enjoyable mountain courses I've played.
